Barra de Navidad and Melaque Location
Barra de Navidad and surrounding area is home to deep sea fishing, golfing, surfing, swimming and snorkeling on a different nearby beach every day. There is much to see and do and most everyone can speak English. There are loads of great restaurants that are as good as any five star you would find in Canada or the US and half the price. Some places will even allow you to bring your own wine and will just charge you a small corking fee. All have purified water and ice. One favorite is Restaurant Maya.

There are some great places to sit watch the sunsets and enjoy happy hour (2 for one drinks). If you like music and dancing, there are some of the best local musicians that gather at different clubs and happening spots around Barra and Melaque and you will hear great jazz, blues and traditional Mexican music. There is even a night club where you can dance into the wee hours of the morning. You can also enjoy some of Mexico's on going celebrations while shopping in local nearby shops at really great prices.

Just a ten minute drive to the north is beautiful quiet Cuaste Comate, where the best sunsets in the world happen in January.

With a white sandy swimming beach and a reef that is perfect for snorkeling - our mexican villa is a perfect rental.

Just down the road is another fifteen minutes from there is another oceanside village, La Manzanilla where you can walk tirelessly forever on hard packed beautiful sand. A short drive down the road you will find more great swimming and snorkeling at Tenacatita where you can also enjoy great seafood in one of the many beach side restaurants.

Colima
Colima is a 2 hour drive by bus or car. This quaint little village brings the sites of a volcano and explore ancient ruins.
